Zoom is currently experiencing and dealing with outages accross the country. We, at Sanders Elementary School, are working as hard as we can to get our teachers and students back online.

Recently Mississippi was approved to participate in the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Program (P-EBT). This program provides benefits to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and non-SNAP households for children who have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to pandemic-related school closures.

Congratulations on completing another year! Students, you are one year closer to graduation and adulthood. It has been exciting to watch you all grow over the past several months. You should be proud of what you have accomplished and endured in these hard times.

The school was recently awarded four chromebooks from a Donors Choose grant written by Ms. Abigail McDougal. The laptops will be checked out to students in the upper elementary this summer so they can continue learning from home and practice their typing skills.
